She even became a certified PIAA Swimming Official possibly in an effort to be even closer to the pool. As a wife and mother, Peggy enjoyed going to her children’s school activities and sports and attended countless swim meets, baseball and basketball games. Although her longtime director tried to take her to Broadway, she chose to settle down and start a family.
